If there is a disaster or emergency in Marin County, some of our residents may need a place to stay. The American Red Cross is ready to jump into action and set up Red Cross shelters. All CERT graduates are invited to this FREE training to learn how to be a volunteer shelter worker in this half-day class. Learn the guidelines and procedures for opening, operating and closing a shelter during a disaster. Class participants will work on a case study that takes them through the four key phases of the sheltering cycle.

You will receive the necessary training to become part of a team of caring volunteers. There is NO cost to participants for this training. All CERT graduates are welcome!
