Countywide CERT Disaster Simulation Exercise is coming up on November 5th!

On November 5th, 9:00-3:30,  CERTs from around the county will participate in a disaster simulation exercise.

Located this year in Mill Valley, CERT members will start the day  with a leadership review and triage round robin exercise.

We’ll address the following topics:

  • how do we organize our CERT teams
  • where do we meet
  • how do we communicate what we find
  • how do we document our actions

CERTs will practice setting up teams, finding ‘victims’ and transporting them to a treatment site.

Marin Medical Reserve Corp and fire department personnel will provide safety and protocol guidance.

Limited to 50 participants. Eventbrite invitations have been sent out;  if you’d like to join us & did not receive an invitation , contact us at  Great opportunity to re-certify if you took the basic training over 4 years ago!
