How do I Recertify as a CERT?

Our CERT & Disaster Service Worker status are good for 4 years, at which point we need to recertify. This will provide Workers Compensation for another four years. It is a simple process and can be accomplished at any of the Marin County CERT Advanced Trainings or by stopping in the CERT office at Southern Marin Fire Station 9, 308 Reed Blvd. in Mill Valley (call first to make sure we’re in: 415-961-0907). There is no cost and just requires filling out the Disaster Service Worker form, re-taking the oath and we’ll take a passport-type photo. A new photo ID badge will be sent out by mail.
