We love to celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks. But sadly every year there are tragic events related to fireworks. On average, 18,000 fires and over 8300 injuries result from fireworks mishandling. Keep your family safe this year and do not purchase fireworks outside of the County and use them here. This is even more critical due to our extreme drought conditions in our open spaces.

It is illegal to store, handle, sell, or use fireworks in Marin County. The California fireworks law allows the state to suspend the commercial driver’s license of anyone involved in the transportation of illegal fireworks.

The Marin County Fair is the best place to view fantastic fireworks shows with your family. July 2-6 at the Fairgrounds, the fireworks displays every night around 9:30pm.
