Twin Cities Residents: Prepare for Wildland Fire Class

Featured image

The Twin Cities Fire Department is offering a FREE 2-hour class for Corte Madera and Larkspur residents to help you prepare for a wildland fire.

Learn why our communities are at as great a risk as Oakland was before their 1991 fire and what you can do about it. Learn how to implement the new READY! SET! GO! program in your home and neighborhood, and how to create attractive landscaping that complies with the Fire Department’s Defensible Space regulations.

The class also covers how to make your home more fire resistant and what you need to know to be ready to evacuate if needed.

Sunday, August 10, 4 to 6 pm
