Show us your proof of training and contact information for the CERT coordinator you worked with. We will verify and then re-certify you in Marin County.

No. You can repeat the training at any time for free by contacting your local CERT coordinator or emailing info@readymarin.org.

People of all ages have taken the CERT training. During the training, if you are concerned about doing a skill such as lifting, just let the instructor know. You can learn from watching.

There are many jobs within CERT for someone who wants to be involved and help in an emergency such as managing damage documentation, comforting others, logistics, and more.

Marin County CERT holds Advanced Trainings throughout the year including one annual field day disaster simulation exercise. Other trainings might include disaster first aid, Incident Command System (ICS), how to run a CERT Command Post, hand-held radio training, traffic safety, and more.  Read more
