Town of Ross Evacuation Drill

Ross Valley Evacuation Drill

For the first time in more than three years, the Town of Ross held an evacuation drill for their residents. The main purpose was to test the Marin County emergency alert system, AlertMarin, and practice how to evacuate for a real-time emergency.

All participating residents received a preparedness packet, evacuation tags, and of course, donuts.

Why is AlertMarin Important?

It’s your life-saving alert defense. Emergency officials use the AlertMarin Emergency Notification System to deliver incident-specific information or potentially life-saving instruction to the precise geographic area(s) affected.
